We are seeking an experienced Environmental Technical Specialist to play a pivotal leadership role within a growing and ambitious environmental consultancy team. This is a high-profile opportunity to shape technical delivery, strengthen client relationships, and build capability within a thriving Aberdeen-based operation.
The Role
You will act as the technical lead for environmental support across UK Oil & Gas projects, ensuring high-quality consultancy delivery while driving performance, mentoring specialists, and contributing to business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading environmental and sustainability input across major projects
Providing strategic environmental guidance to clients
Overseeing and approving high-quality technical reports
Managing project delivery (scope, budget, schedule)
Supporting bids, proposals and team growth
Building strong, trusted client relationships
About You
Extensive experience delivering environmental services within the UK Oil & Gas sector
Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and industry standards
Proven ability to lead technical scopes and meet commercial targets
Confident in client-facing and senior stakeholder environments
Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline
A strong industry network and experience contributing to business development would be advantageous.
