Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership and Delivery:
Manage the planning, scoping, and delivery of complex EIA projects across energy, infrastructure, and urban development sectors.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant legislation and deliver high-quality Environmental Statements (ES) and reports.
Oversee budgets, timelines, and resources to meet client and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership and Development:
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team.
Coordinate inputs from multidisciplinary specialists to ensure seamless project execution.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to align project outcomes with expectations.
Represent clients at public consultations, hearings, and stakeholder meetings.
Business Development:
Identify opportunities for new business, build client relationships, and contribute to proposals and tenders.
Support strategic planning for the growth of EIA services within the firm.
Compliance and Advisory:
Provide expert advice on environmental risks, mitigation strategies, and adherence to legal frameworks.
Stay informed about changes in environmental policy, legislation, and industry best practices.
Innovation and Strategy:
Drive innovation through tools like GIS, digital platforms, and advanced data analytics.
Contribute to the company’s sustainability goals and climate change initiatives.
About You
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MSc preferred.
Experience: Minimum of six years’ relevant industry experience.
Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of UK EIA regulations and best practices.
Attributes: Passion for EIA, a positive mindset, and a desire to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
