Are you looking for a career-defining move? Calling all principal/associate level ecologists. Exciting opportunity for a motivated ecology specialist to play a key role in a highly regarded independent consultancy known for its strong culture, engaging projects, and commitment to career growth.

My client, a leading ecological consultancy, is seeking an Associate Director - Ecology. With over 20 years of experience, my client has built a stellar reputation for delivering innovative and practical ecological solutions across a range of sectors.

Join my client as an Associate Director - Ecology, working within a dynamic and experienced team. The team comprises skilled ecologists who handle a diverse array of projects, from nationally significant infrastructure to large-scale renewable energy schemes. The mission is to provide intelligent and pioneering ecological advice. The role is based in the heart of the Cotswolds in a picturesque rural setting, with significant options for remote working available.

The straightforward recruitment process involves an initial confidential and informal chat, followed by an interview with the Technical Director and key team members.

As an Associate Director - Ecology, you will help oversee the ecology team, ensuring the smooth operation of projects and conducting technical reviews. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Head of Habitats, enhancing the consultancy's integrated approach to ecological and habitat management.

My client requires these skills and understanding: a strong technical knowledge in ecology, the ability to deliver robust reviews of reports, and evidence of strong project management skills. Experience in managing a team will be advantageous. The role offers the potential to develop any particular technical specialism that complements the consultancy’s existing services and aligns with their vision and values.

In return, a highly competitive salary is offered along with benefits such as flexible working options, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment that values collaboration and innovation.

Ready to join a team dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment? Apply now as early applications are encouraged. Join a firm committed to equal opportunities for all employees, regardless of background or circumstances.
